The .ME domain extension is technically for the geographic location of Montenegro, however it is now being marketed far beyond these shores. There are obvious uses of the domain as a personal domain, i.e. myname.me but there are wider uses within the personalised web. For example. brands can adopt the domain name and develop a personalised version of their services, i.e. google.me
